Police Modernisation Division comprises of the following sections/desks dealing with the following areas of work:-

PM-I	Schemes for Modernisation of State Police Forces.
PM-II	Police Reforms / Coordination / Administrative and Financial matters of orgnaisations viz. LNJNNICFS, DCPW, CFSL(CBI), DFS.
Proc-I & II	Equipping the Central Police Organisations with surveillance  equipment,. Arms & ammunition and various other detection  equipment.
Provisioning	Modernisaiton of CPFs.
